Our pet cremation services are flexible based on your specific needs. Our goal is to guide you through each step of the grieving process so we can fully cherish the memories you have had with your pet. This page is going to discuss our process for pet cremation, how it is exclusive to your pet, and differences in types of cremation services.
During the private cremation process, your pet is the ONLY pet in the cremation chamber. This ensures that there are not other pets present during the time of cremation and that the cremated remains returned to you are never co-mingled with any other cremated remains. Private cremations are the most commonly requested form of cremation.
Cremation pricing is based on weight (please see price list for full detail).
When you choose Partitioned cremation, your pet is cremated alongside other pets within the cremation chamber but ALWAYS separated from one another. Using a container/tray, we can isolate each pet and contain their remains. Your pet will be cremated by themselves in their own space, but at the same time as others of similar size. Even though multiple pets are in the chamber at the same time, your pet is sequentially removed in a specific order to ensure that there is no co-mingling of cremated remains.

Why is there a difference? What is the difference?
Prices differ between private and partitioned cremations as a result of timeline and scheduling. Because only one pet is being cremated at a time in private cremations, we have to dedicate larger time blocks in our schedule, therefore increasing price a bit because of decreased scheduling efficiency.
Partitioned cremations are less expensive than private because pet separation allows us to proceed with cremation with multiple similar sized pets simultaneously while keeping them apart. This increases scheduling efficiency and results in less cost to you as a result.
Communal pet cremations are for those families or individuals that do not wish to receive the cremated remains of their pet back. For any multitude of reasons you may choose this option, and the cremated remains of your beloved pet will be spread in an oshuary by an A Paws in Time staff member to ensure their final resting place is a peaceful and undisturbed location in the beautiful foothills of Colorado.
Communal cremation is also the most inexpensive cremation option at only $100.
As one of their last stops before they cross the rainbow bridge, families often bring their pet into our care. Bringing your pet into our care will allow you a final set time to spend with them. These difficult goodbyes take as long as they take, and there is no timeline on spending your last moments with them, we will never rush you.
While you are here, we will check in periodically to ensure any and all questions are answered, as well as check on details of the process so we can be sure this is as peaceful as possible given the circumstance. This time is for you and your family and we aim to make it as positively memorable as can be.
