Powered by Heflebower Funeral & Cremation Services, we are a local pet funeral and cremation service in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. We specifically serve areas across the Denver metro and foothills area. With more than 3 decades of experience, our background in operating a successful funeral home is greatly beneficial to A Paws in Time. Our goal is to fulfill all your needs and expectations for pet funeral and cremation services. Losing a beloved pet is something no one should go through alone. During this difficult time, we are here to take as much stress off your shoulders as possible.
Our Story
As a family owned and operated company, we understand that cherishing memories of loved ones who have passed on carries through to our pets too, it doesn’t just stop at the loss of a human family member.
For this reason, we created A Paws in Time in 2020 to help care for your ENTIRE family. Our Owner, Mike Heflebower, has more than 35 years of funeral industry experience in management and ownership. Our Chief Operations Officer, Logan Heflebower (Mike’s oldest son) has a background in healthcare administration and oversees everything at A Paws in Time. Mike's youngest son, Nate Heflebower, is our Chief Information Officer and helps provide structure to our company process in this ever changing industry.
Logan and Nate are here and ready to assist you and your family during such an incredibly difficult time. We bring decades of funeral and cremation industry experience to the pet sector and are passionate about serving families the way we would like to be treated. We are here to be a guardian angel to your beloved pet as they make their way to paradise.
